On Thursday it was announced at the NEC bike show that Alistair Seeley has signed to race in the British Superbike series for 2010 on a Relentless Suzuki by TAS.

Seeley was crowned the British Superstock champion for 2009 at the Cadwell Park round on the Relentless Suzuki by TAS GSX-R1000 after winning nine consecutive races despite their being three rounds left.  Seeley had survived a huge crash on the previous day’s qualifying session and had to use his spare bike before switching to a fresh bike for race day sent over from Northern Ireland to qualify on pole.

On his title win Alastair said;

“It’s been a great year so far and I just couldn’t fault the effort of the team or the 2009 GSX–R1000. The bike has been supremely fast and completely reliable throughout, but despite this I really didn’t expect to take the championship win today. A huge thanks to everyone involved in this year’s effort.”
